Summary: The sequel to the original Lara Croft movie, The Cradle of Life, finds our heroine journeying to a temple underwater that contains the mythical Pandora's Box. Unfortunately, it is stolen away by Chen Lo, the leader of a Chinese crime syndicate. He wants to use the box as a doomsday device. In order to get her hands on the box, stop Lo and serve the Queen, Croft sets off on her biggest adventure to date.
Review: Lara Croft, every nerd's fantasy. How could a sequel with a bigger budget and another armageddon scenario be bad? Well, it starts off amazing with Angelina Jolie in a bikini and a boat explosion (I'm tipping my hat to you Indiana Jones and your last crusade and to the folks who digitally removed her tattoos). From there you might as well put the movie in fast forward. You won't be missing a plot, any scantily clad Angelina, or even any cool action. What you will be missing is a ridiculous flying human scene which will just make you shudder if you watch. Order Netflix for a fun intro. Watch the whole thing for a severe pain.
