Summary: Eleven people work their way through affairs in the heart of Los Angeles. Follow along: Paul produces Hannah's TV cooking show and Hannah wants to find out more about an affair Paul had years ago. Meanwhile, Mark is dying of AIDS and bonds with his mother. Trent is persistently trying to win the affection of Meredith, while Joan (Jolie) wants to break the solitude of Kevin. Hugh, finally, tells tall tales to women in bars in an attempt go get in bed with them. By the end of a week, all the stories converge.
